Deanery Confirmation in Plymouth

Deanery Confirmands with Bishop Gayle
Christ Church in Plymouth was the site of our second Deanery confirmation celebration this spring. In addition to Christ Church, St Barnabas in Falmouth and St Christopher's in Chatham participated. In addition to confirmands, there were those reaffirming their baptismal vows and a number of people being received into the Episcopal Church.

Plymouth Confirmand with Bishop GayleBishop Gayle Harris presided. She spoke quietly to each candidate before the laying on of hands. A personal touch that made a special day even more special!

Family and friends came forward to place their hands on their loved ones being received or confirmed. A joyous sharing celebration to be sure!

After the Eucharist, Christ Church provided a feast for the reception. From the joy in the church, you would never guess that it was a grey and drizzly day outside.

Alleluia!

Deanery Confirmation (part 2)

Our Deanery confirmations are split between two dates this year. On April 21, one confirmation was held at St. David's in South Yarmouth. Our friend who helped with the hospitality said everyone enjoyed themselves, and they certainly ate the refreshments after the service!

The other confirmation service for our Deanery will be on May 19th at Christ Church in Plymouth. The service is at 10:30 a.m. and all are welcome to attend.
