Wanted: Input on the Diocesan Budget

Who: Delegates, Deanery Reps, Parish folk

What: See announcement below...budget conversations...
Questions for Deanery Folk:
  • Who is going to which meeting?
  • Do we need to organize rides?

It is important to have our voices be heard now BEFORE the budget gets finalized. Our input is important!

Diocesan Announcement:

The series of budget conversations with the bishops continues on two upcoming Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m.: April 10 at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul (138 Tremont Street) in Boston and April 17 at the Church of Our Saviour (120 Center Street) in
Middleborough.

As work gets underway to create a proposed 2008 diocesan operating budget, the bishops and Budget Committee are asking for wide participation in the budget conversation, including making use of the deanery structure and representatives to Diocesan Council. Participants from congregations are urged to join in these
pre-budgeting meetings with their ideas, comments and prayers.
